Quadratic Equation
There are many concepts that are hard for us to get, no matter how young we might feel. There are many subjects that we study in school that might end up causing us a problem as we get older. Take the Quadratic Equation for starters. There are many times in life when we might need the Quadratic Equation, and we do study it extensively in school. However, as we get older, we find that we are unable to remember the Quadratic Equation - much less be able to use it!

Why is the Quadratic Equation so hard to understand and to remember? It is pretty easy - the equation that is used to figure out the length of the long side of a triangle. You simply take the first side, or A, squared, plus the second side, or B, squared, and you get the length, squared. This is one of the most simple equations that you might be able to find, and while we are in school we find that we understand it quite easily. However, when we get older it seems to fall out of our heads.

Part of the problem is that we are less apt to remember things that we aren’t doing on a regular basis. If you aren’t using the Quadratic Equation each day, you are going to be less apt to remember it when you do need it. This is something that many people find to be true as time goes on.
